According to JBQ, android 4.0.4 on "a few hundred changes over 4.0.3," and "corresponds to the update to a few units shipped since yesterday" (more on that below). As previously mentioned by Google, "files with regard to CDMA devices have not been tested in the context of AOSP." There is no fixed timetable for when 4.0.4 will all the different Google Experience Devices reach out there, but some devices are already seeing the update.
That's right, after months of waiting for Google to finally get together their act, has an Android 4.0.4 update file for the Samsung Nexus S finally uploaded to Google's add url servers, ready to manually flashed on the failed update to Android 4.0.3.
Coming of only 18MB, the current update for the Nexus S is strictly intended for flashing than Android 4.0.3. It is confirmed to work on both the i9023, i9020 and T (T-Mobile Nexus S variant). There is good reason add url to believe 4.0.4 should be available when hit update over the air sooner rather than later, but if you do not want to wait to receive your stock Nexus S, you can download from Google now.

Congratulations to all the users of these devices. I am sure that the dev community will 4.04 went quickly to the rest of us. Rocking Gummy ROM on my Droid 2 Global and my Droid X at the moment and loving it
I wonder if this 4.0.4 will be made available by developers on devices running CM9, AOKP, or any other ICS based ROMs. I wonder how much better this is than 4.0.3, and in addition to that, some other modifications were added to this latest update.
Thumb up Thumb down -1
Turns out the problem is that since ICS, you can not manually update the recovery. You need ClockworkMod recovery potential. What people do over at xda is back to 2.3.6 flashing 4.0.3 then this update file. It works, but you need your device to clear, I am not willing add url to do, so I'm still waiting for the OTA to hit!
